“When many have spent the past year saying, “we can’t”, I have watched as you have said, “how can we find a new and creative way to make this happen in this environment”. Fundraisers have continued. Concerts have continued. Camaraderie and connections among choir students have continued. There’s so much talk about social and emotional learning and for the choir students, you have made such a huge impact during these trying times. Congratulations and thank you to you for making a huge impact that the choir students and the community have noticed and appreciate.”
“Choir is like my second family. No matter who you are or where you came from, we will always be connected by the love we share and the songs we sing!
Chorus became and always will be my safe space. I’ve made so many bonds with people, and of course I have an amazing time learning music and combining with other music departments to put on amazing concerts.
Choir gives me a sense of belonging at a big school such as LB, and it has provided me with amazing friends and many opportunities to create music!
